Thor: Love and Thunder DVD Review
Thor is back and so is his ex Jane Foster in Taika Waititi’s new film! Read on for a dvd review of Thor: Love and Thunder, now available on Digital and will be released on 4K, Blu-ray and DVD September 27.
DVD provided by Disney in exchange for an honest review.
In Thor: Love and Thunder, Thor the God of Thunder (Chris Hemsworth) is back with the Guardians of the Galaxy when he gets a distress signal from close friend Sif (Jaime Alexander.) Gorr the God Butcher (Christan Bale) is murdering as many Gods as he can and while SIf survives the encounter, she tells Thor that he needs to be stopped.
Thor heads to New Asgaard and reunites with Val (Tessa Thompson) and Jane Foster (Natalie Portman.) Jane wields Moljinor and battles against foes but holds a secret that threatens any sort of future with Thor. Helped by lots of familiar faces, Thor Love and Thunder is silly and very entertaining.
So is Thor: Love and Thunder worth the watch? I think so. It’s funny and clever and definitely different than the previous Thor movies. There are inside jokes that relate to other movies, and familiar faces that pop up plus I really appreciated them filling in the story of Thor and Jane’s initial breakup. The DVD offers not one but two deleted scenes with Guardians characters which alone make the DVD worth it!
